Tegan Cockroft
RVN
Head Veterinary Nurse, Brompton Cross (BX)
Tegan was one of the first five clinicians to join Virtue Vets. With a passion for internal medicine, orthopaedics, emergency and critical care, she is qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Small Animal Veterinary Nursing from the Central College of Animal Studies (Exeter). Her compassion and profound love for animals are reflected in the exceptional work she delivers every day.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys holidaying in Cornwall with her family. She lives with a Cocker Spaniel named Fletcher and a rescue cat called Daphne. Tegan’s fresh perspective on vet care embodies the Virtue Vets values, bringing a patient-first and expert approach.
“Seeing a pet sad, and in poor health really pulls at my heartstrings. Knowing I am part of helping them through this tough time and seeing them back to their normal, happy self, is the most rewarding thing. That moment when their human first sees them at discharge and is received with that tail wag they hadn't seen whilst they were poorly, is the most magical thing.”
